What’s new in Akuity? AI Agents, Automated Triage, and EU Data Region launches

Product Updates from September 2025 to February 2026
Akuity supports Platform Engineering and DevOps teams running production delivery across clusters and infrastructure systems.
Built by the original creators of Argo CD and Kargo, Akuity provides an enterprise software delivery platform for scalable and secure operations. Teams across industries, including AI infrastructure, SaaS, financial services, and healthcare, use Akuity to simplify multi-environment delivery and meet enterprise security requirements.
Over the past six months, we’ve introduced major updates across incident response, multi-environment promotion, and enterprise-grade security and regional controls. Below are the highlights.
Intelligent Incident Response and Proactive Monitoring
Akuity Intelligence is built on two components: AI agents and Dashboards.
AI agents analyze deployments, logs, and system state to surface context, guide investigation, and execute predefined remediation steps where permitted. Dashboards provide structured visibility into system health and operational workflows. Together, they enable teams to investigate incidents, coordinate response, and maintain operational oversight across environments.

With new Akuity Intelligence updates, you can:
Manage Incidents Directly from Slack
Akuity Intelligence is now available directly in Slack.
Teams can:
Review real-time incident analysis in channel
Ask follow-up questions without switching tools
Coordinate investigation across stakeholders
Maintain shared context during active incidents
This keeps incident coordination inside existing team workflows and reduces context switching during active investigations.
See documentation for configuring Slack integration.
Standardize and Automate Incident Triage
Akuity Intelligence executes predefined runbooks when applications enter a degraded state.
Teams define structured diagnostic paths aligned with their operational standards. During an incident, Akuity Intelligence follows those steps automatically, analyzes logs and configuration, and can execute defined remediation or follow-up actions with approval requirements applied where configured.
Investigations follow consistent methodology, and defined procedures can run automatically when conditions are met. This reduces variability in incident response and ensures operational standards are applied consistently.
3. Certificate Health Monitoring
Akuity Intelligence can generate structured summaries of expiring certificates across clusters.
On a recurring schedule, teams can automatically:
Detect certificates expiring within 21 days (warning) or 7 days (critical)
Identify expired certificates
Surface failed or stalled renewal attempts
Results are grouped by severity with clear indicators for immediate action. This provides early visibility into certificate expiration risk across environments.
Coordinate Multi-Environment Releases
Promote Terraform Infrastructure Alongside Kubernetes Deployments
Akuity Kargo Enterprise now supports promoting infrastructure defined in Terraform alongside Kubernetes application deployments within the same GitOps-governed workflow.
Infrastructure updates and application releases can move together across environments instead of being managed in separate systems. This enables coordinated promotion across application and infrastructure layers within a single model.
Support for additional environments, including VM and serverless workloads, is planned for future releases.

Meet Security and Data Residency Requirements in the EU
SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
Akuity is certified for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 and has completed a PCI DSS v4.0.1 Report on Compliance (ROC) as a Service Provider. Akuity also implements controls aligned with HIPAA requirements.
These controls support deployments in regulated environments and reduce audit complexity for teams operating under PCI, HIPAA, and other enterprise security frameworks.
Deploy Within the European Union
A dedicated EU region is now available in AWS Frankfurt.
The full Akuity infrastructure stack has been replicated in-region, supporting GDPR and regional data residency requirements.

Streamline Promotion and Visibility
Receive Promotion Outcomes Automatically
Kargo supports Slack and email notifications for promotion events.
Instead of monitoring the interface, teams receive alerts when promotions succeed or fail, allowing workflows to run asynchronously while maintaining visibility into outcomes.
View Deployment State Without Switching Interfaces
Key Argo CD views are now embedded directly within Kargo.
Promotion state and deployment visibility are available in a unified interface, reducing context switching and simplifying operational oversight.

Simplify Cross-Cluster Operations
Synchronize Shared Secrets Across Clusters
In multi-cluster environments, shared credentials such as container registry access, GitHub tokens, or monitoring API keys often need to exist across environments. Previously, these secrets had to be configured separately in each cluster, increasing operational overhead and configuration drift.
In Akuity, secret synchronization allows teams to define a secret once and propagate it to destination clusters through the control plane using a simple annotation. Updates can be applied centrally instead of repeated per cluster, simplifying cluster onboarding and reducing manual configuration.
Akuity distributes secrets through the control plane, while lifecycle management remains under customer control.
