Announcing Akuity Intelligence: Insights Dashboards and Agents for Safer, Faster GitOps

Today we’re excited to announce the launch of Akuity Intelligence, which brings real‑time visibility, automated incident response, and safer deployments to the software delivery process. As Kubernetes adoption continues to skyrocket, companies are managing more applications across more clusters, often relying on multiple tools but still lacking full visibility and automation required to keep pace. Akuity Intelligence addresses these challenges by helping teams detect issues earlier, reduce MTTR, and improve release safety.

Akuity Intelligence combines Insights Dashboards and Akuity Agents to give teams real‑time visibility and safe, automated remediation built into the Argo CD and Kargo experience delivered by the Akuity Platform. With Akuity Intelligence, organizations can detect issues earlier, resolve them faster, and reduce the operational load on both developers and platform engineers.

Introducing the Akuity Agents
Akuity Intelligence includes three specialized AI agents, each built to address common operational challenges. Because they run on Akuity’s agent-based deployment model, they connect natively to your Kubernetes infrastructure — plugging into existing workflows with no extra installation and ready to use in minutes.
Let’s take a quick look at each of the Akuity AI Agents:
Deployment Advisor – acts like a built-in expert. It reviews configurations, flags risky patterns, and provides best-practice recommendations. For example, it can spot missing resource limits in a deployment and suggest fixes before they lead to instability.
On-Call Agent – detects degraded Argo CD applications or Kubernetes namespaces, opens incidents with full context, and can execute or recommend runbooks. If an app enters a crash loop, it gathers logs, suggests a rollback, and can execute it with approval, turning hours of work into minutes.
Promotion Advisor – makes promotions safer by analyzing differences between versions and highlighting risks before rollout. If a new image contains a known CVE, the Promotion Advisor flags it, helping teams address vulnerabilities before they reach production.

Insights Dashboards
The Insights Dashboards provide real‑time visibility into application health, container status, infrastructure utilization, and risks such as CVEs or deprecated APIs without requiring users to leave the familiar Argo CD and Kargo UIs.
Dashboards are designed to surface critical signals that are often missed when relying on fragmented toolchains. For example:
Security risks: flagging images with known CVEs before they impact production.
Deprecated APIs: highlighting Kubernetes APIs that are no longer supported, so teams can update workloads proactively.
Resource views: dashboards that show container and cluster utilization to identify inefficiencies or capacity issues.
Application health: at-a-glance indicators of sync status, drift, and degraded workloads.
Dashboards + Agents: Better Together
Dashboards give you the context. Agents handle the fixes. Together they create a closed loop for troubleshooting:
Dashboards surface drift, degraded states, or vulnerabilities.
Agents open incidents with full context — logs, metrics, events, and history in one place.
Runbooks are suggested or executed automatically, cutting resolution from hours to minutes.
For promotions, the Promotion Advisor reviews diffs and flags risky changes before rollout.
The result: less tool-switching, faster recovery, and fewer late-night pages.
Built Into GitOps: Context and Permissions to Act Safely
Akuity is uniquely positioned because the platform manages continuous deployments and is already integrated directly into customers’ infrastructure. Akuity’s agent-based model embeds an Akuity agent into every Kubernetes cluster, providing full visibility across Kubernetes clusters and the permissions to act. With the context, insights and permissions, Akuity Intelligence allows users to detect issues, troubleshoot and remediate issues without leaving the platform.
Safe and Turnkey
Akuity provides platform administrators with fine-grained controls to define which users can access Akuity Intelligence and to set rules and guidelines on how it can be used. For example, the administrator can set up the On-Call Agent to automate incident creation or to require a human in the loop. In the Akuity UI every action is governed by approval gates, scoped permissions, and audit trails. Customers can enable Akuity Intelligence and set up the correct rules and access to meet their business needs.
